Contemporary Worship Director

Christ the Savior Lutheran Church, a vibrant ELCA Lutheran congregation in Fishers, IN, is seeking a part time Contemporary Worship Director to join our worship staff. Christ the Savior Lutheran Church is a congregation which has served the Fishers community for over 40 years. We are a community of wide welcome and deep grace grounded in the love of Christ.
The Contemporary Worship Director brings energy, creativity, and spiritual depth to each weekly contemporary worship experience—guiding the congregation into authentic, Christ-centered praise. This role blends musical excellence with meaningful collaboration, working alongside pastoral staff and gifted volunteer musicians to design worship that is both theologically grounded and deeply engaging.
As a leader and mentor, the Director equips and empowers diverse volunteer teams, musicians, vocalists, and creatives—to use their gifts with confidence and joy. From shaping weekly contemporary worship flow and selecting impactful music, to cultivating a culture of unity, growth, and service, this role is at the heart of a thriving worship community.

The desired candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong organizational and time management skills. The candidate should be able to work independently and collaboratively as a part of the leadership team. The ideal candidate will be a servant-minded individual with high integrity and a positive attitude who is relatable, flexible, and able to lead and build teams.
