Family Ministry Director
Christ the Savior Lutheran Church, a vibrant ELCA Lutheran congregation in Fishers, IN, is seeking a full time Youth & Family Ministry Director to join our senior staff. This leader will drive faith formation ministry programs with children, youth, and families. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of faith formation, experience in developing engaging programs, and a passion for working with families. A Bachelor's degree in Christian Education, Youth Ministry, or a related field is preferred along with at least 3-5 years of experience. A Deacon of the ELCA would be considered in a formal call.
This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive Family Ministry strategy. They will oversee a team of part time staff, and director of our on-site pre-school and kindergarten. In addition will recruit, train, and support volunteer teams. The Director will manage their program budget and regular communications with families. The desired candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong organizational and time management skills. The candidate should be able to work independently and collaboratively as a part of the senior leadership team. The ideal candidate will be a servant-minded individual with high integrity and a positive attitude who is relatable, flexible, and able to lead and build teams.
